Growth is painful. Change is painful. But nothing is as painful as staying stuck somewhere you don't belong.
I am an experienced integrative therapist who is committed to improving the emotional well-being of all my clients.
My integrative approach allows me to draw from several techniques and tailor them to meet your individual needs and circumstances.
I aim to create a safe and non-judgemental environment where we can work together to promote a positive and trusting client-counsellor relationship. I strive to experience the world through your eyes to allow you to be heard and understood with sensitivity.
In order to gain insight into any difficulties you may be facing, I will help you to identify any negative behaviours or thought patterns, and encourage you to try out new ways of being from the safety of the therapy room. I will work with you to find the strategies that will enable you to move forward positively and thrive.
I endeavour to show my clients resilience, patience and humility.
I have experience of working with individuals affected by anxiety, addiction, PTSD, and have worked extensively post-qualification with women experiencing or recovering from trauma. I also have experience of working with clients with additional needs including developmental disorders.
My practice is based in a private office in central Surbiton.
Prior to becoming a Psychotherapist, I worked for over 15 years within social care, providing support to children and families.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I abide by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice and Psychotherapy.
